Firstly, a couple of weeks ago I was doing some testing on Amazon ranking factors, and to help gather some data, I gave away copies of my keyword research tool to anyone that bought my Evernote book and sent me the receipt. Finally, I am starting another Amazon ranking experiment. I am going to be making one of my books 99 cents (99 pence in the UK) for 5-6 days. The book is my one and only story for children. I need as many purchases as possible for the test. In return, EVERYONE that purchases and sends me the receipt will get 1 month unlimited access to Web Content Studio (WCS). If you write an honest review, I'll even bump that up to 3 months. During the test, I'll be picking random people and upgrading them to a full copy of Web Content Studio. I had an email from one subscriber asking me about an animation I
put up on my ezSEONews website. Here is the relevant part from the
email:

I love the new call to action you have put after your posts on the
SEO site. I know you used Call to Action Pro to create them, since
I saw your review the other day. I was wondering whether or not you
used any of the extra theme packs to create this. I'd like to
get the plugin, but don't know if I should get the OTO template

Well, the good news is that I did not use any pre-defined templates
to create the calls to action I am using on the ezSEONews site. I
am creating them from scratch, and to show you the entire process, I

If you have a spare 30 seconds, I'd appreciate your feedback.
I created a simple poll you can vote in, but let me explain...

For the last couple of years (yes, it really has been over two
years), Kindle publishing has been an increasing part of my online
business after reading an excellent course on the subject. My
latest book on Using Evernote was released last week, but I hate
the cover. I therefore decided to use a service I heard about on a
podcast I listen to. The service is 99Designs, which essentially
creates a competition where designers compete for the job, and you
don't pay for a design unless you are 100% happy with it.

I am at the final stages of my "competition", and have
whittled away the designs down to just two. I need to decide which
one is better for my book.

does not generate many reviews. What I've decided to do

Hope you are well. I cannot believe it's almost Christmas
again! How time flies.

During the last week, I've been testing out a new Wordpress
plugin, and I think it is perhaps the best plugin I've used in
2014. That's actually a very bold claim, and quite subjective
depending on what you need. Perhaps I'd be better off saying
that I think it has the most potential to help my business. I am
super excited about it because it solves a major problem that I
have as I work on my own websites - I am not a graphic designer.

One of the most important aspects of any web page is the call to
action. This is the part where you tell your visitor what you want
them to do next. You can of course use a text link with some
persuasive text, but an alternative method is to create an animated
call to action, which is guaranteed to draw the visitor's eye.
And that is what this plugin excels at.

This plugin allows anyone to create stunning calls to action,
headlines, and other graphics by clicking, dragging and a little
typing.

You can create these graphics easily from scratch, or use exisiting
templates and modify them for your own needs. I could go on and
one about this plugin, but I actually recorded a 30+ minute video
showing it in action, starting off with what it does, then showing
how it works, and finally using it to create an animated call to
action from scratch.

I have become increasingly aware that I've neglected my SEO
newsletter, and those newsletters I have sent over the last year or
so have been slim on real SEO news. Therefore, I hope to change
all that. My intention (although "best laid plans" and
all that), is to publish more SEO industry type news and tutorials
as and when I have a spare moment. I won't stop writing about
