Hi Peter

Last month I offered some great deals on my Udemy courses to existing students. I still have some of the May coupons available, so wanted to offer them to my newsletter subscribers as well. These courses are for anyone actively involved in an online business, or anyone that wants to start one.

But first, a little background information...

I actually started my online business building affiliate websites. My very first affiliate site was a gift website, selling all manner of affiliate products. My very first affiliate commission was a coin sorter, with a $2.49 commission. I sold several in my first month, but the commission that changed my life and made me believe in the affiliate model was a little bigger. It came in my second month as an affiliate, and was over $500 commission on a $2000 sale of some Russian plates at the Sovietski Collection website. I'm not even sure if they are still going, but I did get that commission check, and it made me a believer.

For the next few years, I worked full time on building affiliate sites, which naturally lead into other areas I needed to learn, like Wordpress (when it came on the scene), SEO, CSS etc. As a hobby programmer, I even created software to help me build affiliate sites, called SEO Website Builder. That software helped a lot of people create income-generating websites. I still create software today (like Web Content Studio), but also write books and teach.

Today, I maintain a number of affiliate websites, but they are built very differently to the way we did it in the early years. Today is much more about quality. The courses I have on Udemy teach the principles I use on a daily basis. My latest course is shows you how I create high quality affiliate websites.

During May, I offered my Webmaster-Related courses at roughly 50% discount to my current Udemy students. I say roughly, because one or two may be a dollar out here or there due to Udemy's pricing policy, but it's as close to 50% as I can get. I've listed the courses that are available below. All you need to do is use the following coupon code to get the discount:

Coupon: MAY2016

You can use the coupon in two ways. Firstly you can visit the page for the course and click the "Redeem a Coupon" link underneath the "Add to Cart" button. You'll then be prompted to add the coupon code.

An alternative method, if you want to buy more than one of the courses is to go to each of the course pages and click the "Add to Cart" button. Add all of the courses you want to the cart, then click the "Go to Cart" link. You may see a button that says "Go to Cart", or you can click the small shopping trolley icon top right in your browser. On the shopping cart page, you can insert the coupon ONCE, and it will be applied to all courses that allow that coupon.

All of the courses listed below should accept my 50% discount coupon: MAY2016. If any don't, chances are the coupon has been used up, but for this week I am happy to extend the offer to my newsletter subscribers, so just let me know which course has run out of coupons and I'll create one for you.

Let me tell you about the courses:

1. Wordpress for Beginners

Wordpress For Beginners is my complete course on learning and using Wordpress like a pro. It assumes no prior knowledge, and by the end you'll feel confident in using Wordpress, and even enjoy using it! I recommend this course for anyone that wants to learn how to use Wordpress to build websites. As a bonus, this course comes with my "Installing Wordpress, registrars & hosting" course. Just check out the final lecture in the course for that coupon.

2. Website Analytics Without Google

When you build a website, you need to track who comes to your site, how they find the site, what they do on your site, and how and why they your site. I use Google Analytics on many of my own sites, but there are a lot of webmasters that don't trust Google, and don't want to hand over website analytics to the search giant. Therefore, my second course shows you how to install comprehensive analytics on your site without relying on Google. It's a totally free analytics package, with a lot of power.

3. Build High Quality Affiliate Websites

Build High quality affiliate sites is my latest course, teaching you how to build high quality affiliate websites the way I do. It's only been released for a few weeks, and already has 64 reviews with a 4.7 out of 5 average. The price is going up very soon, so get it now if you want it.

4. How to Write Great Web Content

One thing ALL websites need is great content, and anyone that tells you otherwise simply does not understand Google or how the search engine works. Google use real people to evaluate pages, so if content is poor, your rankings will be poor. My course on "How to Write Great Web Content" will show you how to create the killer content that search engines love to reward with higher rankings.

5. SEO Courses

Although web content is vital to sustainable, high rankings, there are a lot of other factors that can determine where your pages rank in Google. For those that want to learn more about how the search engines work, I'd recommend you take one of my search engine optimization courses. I have two. A primer, for those that want to learn the basics, and then a full SEO 2016 course for those that want more depth and detail. Here are the links to those two courses.

Full SEO Course: https://www.udemy.com/seo-search-engine-optimization-course/
SEO Primer Course: https://www.udemy.com/seo-primer-search-engine-optimization-for-beginners/

Those courses listed above are the ones that most people will find useful, and cover what you need to know to create and maintain successful websites, but I do have a few other "speciality" courses, with specific target audiences in mind.

My Speciality Courses

CSS for Beginners - Web page design is largely controlled by CSS. If you want to have some fun and learn the basics of CSS at the same time, watch the course's free preview "Introduction to CSS". In that lecture you can watch me use CSS to make "improvements" to the Google search page, right there on Google.com. You can have fun like that with any site you like.

Move a Wordpress site - If you have ever needed to move a Wordpress site to a different web host, or maybe even a different domain, then this course will show you how to do that.

Course Link: https://www.udemy.com/moving-a-wordpress-site/

Convert HTML to Wordpress - Does what it says on the tin. This course shows you how to convert an old HTML website to Wordpress. With Google rewarding responsive websites with higher rankings, this course can show you how to breathe new life into an old site. The methods used help to preserve your current rankings, although of course, there are no guarantees with Google.

Course Link: https://www.udemy.com/convert-html-site-to-wordpress/

Install Wordpress Locally - this course shows you how to install Wordpress on your own computer (PC or Mac). This type of local install is private, and only seen by you, so why is it useful? Well, if you are trying to learn Wordpress (e.g. you are taking my Wordpress for Beginners course) and want to learn without having to pay for a domain and web hosting, then a local install is a smart idea. A lot of webmasters setup local installs when they want to make some big updates to an existing site. Simply download the live website to a local computer, make all the changes locally (which do not affect the online site), and when the upgrade is complete, and everything is working, upload it back to the server. This allows sites to go through major changes with zero downtime. A third reason someone might want to install Wordpress locally is when they are testing plugins or themes or maybe just building a website that they want to keep
private until it is ready for real visitors. Whatever your reason for wanting to install Wordpress locally, this course can help you learn how to do it.

This has been a long email, so thank you for reading it. I wish you success in your "webmastering", and hope you find a course or two that can help you learn new skills.

Have a great week!

Andy Williams
