Peter, today is the last day for it... January 24 2013

Internet Marketing Secrets
IMS #222 Supplemental
January 24 2013

Peter,

Just a quick followup...

I'm giving away Ultimate Heatmap, 3rd
Edition, through Amazon's Kindle Select
program. If you haven't downloaded it
yet, you can still get it, until Jan 24
at Midnight PST.

I'm getting a lot of emails saying that
you can't download it, or find it in your
country. There's also a few individuals
asking for print copies.

Here's the deal...

If you are having trouble finding it, or
downloading, your Kindle account is linked
to a country other than USA. Just search
Amazon in whatever country your Kindle
account is registered to - .ca .fr .de
.co.uk - for the unique Amazon ASIN
number B00B1ZHGM8 and you'll find it.

There is no PDF version available. The
book is only available through Amazon,
because they require "exclusive digital
rights" for products released through
their Kindle Select program.

All you need to do, is to spend a little
time learning the Kindle reader software.
After an hour, things like bookmarking and
highlighting become second nature. Plus
its way faster to use the search function
to find stuff later.

If it helps, read research books like
Ultimate Heat Map on your computer,
instead of some other device. Open the
book in one window using the Kindle
reader software. Then open a writing
app in another window, so you can make
summary notes while reading.

Download Ultimate Heat Map 3.0 from
the USA Store: http://fave.co/XRXppv

Or search for it by name "Ultimate Heat
Map" or by Amazon's ASIN number
B00B1ZHGM8 in your local Amazon, if
you're outside the USA.

So go grab the book and put this research
to work. You could see an increase in
sales and conversions literally overnight,
without any additional traffic.

A quick review on Amazon's sales page,
would be a wonderful way to say thank you.
It will motivate me to continue producing
and shipping work of this quality, when I
know its appreciated.

And finally, please tell your peeps,
circles, colleagues, friends, and everyone
else who "likes" you. Thank you for your
continued support.

Michael

P. S.

If you want to sell Ultimate Heat Map,
you can do so as of Friday through the
Amazon affiliate program. I'll tell you
a great new way to implement it in the
next edition of IMS. It's fun, prosperous,
a little sneaky, yet totally honest and
Amazon approved way of doing it. :-)

If you're looking for ads and banners,
I've put together two megabytes worth
in a zip file, with all the Universal Ad
Sizes. Use them on your websites, blogs,
PPC ads, and anywhere else you'd like
to advertise the Ultimate Heat Map.

The filename is: ultimate-heatmap-ads.zip
Download them here: http://bit.ly/14bjPW7

Peter, I Know You've Been Waiting for This - January 21 2013

Internet Marketing Secrets
IMS #222 - January 21 2013

Peter,

Ultimate Heat Map 3 is ready. Full of new
templates to boost your conversion rates.
I'm giving you as a gift until Thursday at
midnight. So for the next four days, it's
freely available at Amazon.

If this research has helped you increase
conversions, signups, sales, donations,
test drives, get fresher breath, a whiter
smile, LOL, could you leave me a review?
Glowing four or five star preferred. ;-)

If you'd like to show your appreciation
for the time and effort it took to put
this research together, send a couple
of tweets and tell your friends. After
Thursday it will be 9.99.

You can help me by tagging the book on
the Amazon page, so its easier for people
to find. Some ideas for tags include;
advertising, marketing, sales, conversion,
design, layout, website, heat map, click
map, eye tracking, click tracking,
research, ads, ultimate, Michael Campbell.

As you read Ultimate Heat Map 3, please
share your notes and highlights. That way
all the readers, the entire community, can
see the most important bits.

If you don't have a Kindle device, you
don't need one. You can get Kindle reader
software from Amazon for Mac, Windows,
iPad, iPhone, Smartphones, Android and
everything else.

Reader Software: http://fave.co/XRT2L6

Personally I like reading on the computer,
especially for research. That way I can
have several windows and documents open
at the same time. I like to type up notes
and jot down I ideas, the moment they come
to me.

I hope that you put this research to
good use. At least try it out on a test
site. If you're like most people, you'll
increase your ad revenues and conversions,
without any additional traffic.

My Amazon Author page is here:
Author: http://fave.co/10MVrfG

Download Ultimate Heat Map 3.0 here.
Book: http://fave.co/XRXppv
Or search Amazon.ca if the link is bust.

So go grab the book. Jot me a quick
review if you can. Add a few tags and
share your highlights.

And don't forget to tell your peeps,
circles, colleagues, classmates, family,
friends, and everyone else who "likes"
you. They'll be eternally grateful
and so will I.

Thank you for your support.

Michael

Peter, Here's an Easy Way to Get Content - January 10 2013

Internet Marketing Secrets
IMS #221 - January 10 2013
An Easy Way to Get Content

Peter,

Here's how to be lazy and get content the
easy way. Be a curator, not a creator.

Let people do the work and give you
their content. You choose what to post
and how to monetize it with ads and
affiliate programs. It's the easy to do
and affordable too. Here's how...

A couple of months ago I announced the
VIA Curation Plugin for Wordpress. Now
I'm happy to share the updated version,
along with the new single site license
for only 27 dollars.

So if price was your only barrier to entry
(heck you can't even get pizza and soda
delivered for that) now's a good time to
get started. And its not some watered
down version of the plugin for that price.
It has all the features of the developer
license, which is also available.

I will show you how easy it is to curate
content and monetize it. To do that, I'm
about to break my cardinal rule, because
I've never shared any of my websites until
now. It's my video curation site at:
http://GoneFishingVideos.com .

Go there and click on the Upload and
Share tab at the top. This is the VIA
Curation form that visitors fill out to
embed videos. (You can also set it
upload articles and photos.) You can
turn all fields on or off, depending on
how much detail you want to collect.

Now click on some of the guest posts in
the right column. That's what the content
looks like after they fill out the form.
The visitor did the work and entered all
the data. The ads are placed automatically
by the VIA Curation custom layout. (You
can choose the layout.)

The plugin emails me whenever I have
new content. All I need to do is click
"Approve" if I feel lazy, but sometimes I
edit the post a bit, before making it go
live. Now doesn't that sound a lot easier
than writing the content yourself, or
hiring, managing and paying writers?

If you want to try your hand at content
curation, or if you just want a cool ad
management system, come look at what
VIA Curation can do for you. At only 27
dollars for a single site license, you
really don't have an excuse anymore. ;-)

Be a curator, not a creator. It's the easy
way to get content.

Wishing you all the best for success,

Michael

Peter, This Wakes You Up Better than 10 Cups of Coffee - January 04 2013

Internet Marketing Secrets
IMS #220 - January 04 2013
How Blue Light Affects Productivity

Peter,

If you're working at a desk and relying
on the internet, chances are you spend
a lot of time in front of the computer.
Your environment, including the lighting,
has a big impact on your happiness and
productivity.

In the morning and afternoon, its
important to have cool white light that's
heavy in the blue spectrum entering your
eyes. This is true for everyone. And
especially important in the winter months,
or if you live somewhere that doesn't get
a lot of natural sunlight, like the UK,
Northern Europe and the Pacific Northwest.

According to Dr. Steven Lockley, "Light in
the blue spectrum, especially between
roughly 450 and 480 nm, has been shown
to be uniquely effective at suppressing the
secretion of melatonin - the hormone which
makes us feel sleepy and regulates a
number of biological rhythms and functions
essential to our health."

The blue light, like those emitted from
special fluorescent bulbs, will keep you
wide awake and productive all day long.
Look for light temperatures - it should be
stamped on the package - in the 6500K
(D65) temperature range with a full
color spectrum.

Personally I use a Deluxe Happy Lights
http://fave.co/TFIYUk that I bought three
years ago. I turn them on the moment I
walk into my office. They make me feel
energized and happy in my work
environment all day long.

It also helps to have a blue background
color on your computer monitor. Choose a
blue in the 450 and 480 nanometer range.
The intensity doesn't matter as much as
the hue.

Although blue light is exactly what you
need during the day, in the evening it's
unhealthy. It interrupts the sleep cycle,
or natural circadian rhythm, by preventing
the production of melatonin, which makes
us sleepy.

So in the evening, shut off the blue
fluorescent light, and switch to yellow
LED lighting, so it doesn't interfere with
your normal sleep cycle. You can also
try dimming your monitor, switching the
background color, or installing software
that changes the color of your screen
depending on the time of day.

So what does all this have to do with
internet marketing? Quite a lot when you
think about it.

Productivity depends on how happy you
are in your work environment. Give your
body & mind the proper lighting it needs.
If you do, you'll notice an immediate
improvement in your mood and attitude
towards work. You'll work longer without
getting tired and feel more energized
throughout the day.

There's also a little trick hidden away
in all this. A website with a blue back
ground, especially one with lots of
text, will keep your readers wide awake,
because of the amount of blue light
entering their eyes. Sneaky huh?

60% of people name blue as their favorite
color. It's also the color that wakes us
up by blocking sleep hormone production.
Put it as the background color on your
site, and your readers won't get tired
while reading your content. At least
that's the theory behind the science. ;-)

Bottom line, to be instantly productive
and happy, forget about getting new
software, or another cup of coffee. Get
the happy lights or something similar for
your mental health. It's the best thing
you can do to improve your attitude, stay
happy and be more productive at work.
