Hi Peter

After sending out the announcement about the new tutorials I uploaded on Explaindio, I got a few emails asking me about two things in particular:

1. The Mascot.ly product for creating avatars / mascots for video creation tools like Explaindio and Video Maker FX. I recorded a short video on Mascot.ly and added it to the Explaindio tutorials page here:

The video shows how Mascot.ly works, and how to import an image created with Mascot.ly into Explaindio Video Creator.

2. The second question referred to a "banner" I have on that page, under my post. The banner actually attracted two different questions. The first question I got about this banner was what tool I had used to create it. I am sure many of you already know the answer is Call to Action Pro (my favourite Wordpress plugin of 2014). Incidentally, Call To Action Pro closed shop for a few weeks after my initial review and I know it left a few of you that wanted to get it, frustrated. It is now open again so you can buy this tool if you were waiting to get it. The direct link to their sales page is:

The final question I got was related to my Wordpress for Beginners course advertised in that banner. People were interested to know how it differed from my Wordpress for Beginners book. Well, both cover the same material. The main difference is the media format. My Udemy course is video based so you get to watch "over my shoulder" as I show students how to set up and use Wordpress. A new addition to that course which started this month is a complete tutorial on building a real affiliate site. The first of those tutorials was added the other day, and in fact, you can preview that tutorial without buying the course.
