Peter, this Makes Affiliate Marketing Easy - February 14 2013

Affiliate Marketing Made Easy

Peter,

Here's how you can generate more affiliate
revenue in a single day, than a whole
month of AdSense. Your experience may
vary, but here's a simple thing that works
like crazy. And how you can do it too.

I was chatting with my friend Dave. We
were talking how people have abandoned
affiliate marketing lately. I almost did
on a couple of new test sites, until Dave
told me a little secret.

The trouble is - as you may have
experienced - new Wordpress sites face a
purgatory period in search results. Things
seem to be going great, but in month 2 or
3, you get slapped with a -30 or -100
penalty. In other words, your website
can't be found in Google.

Then you claw your way back up the
rankings, by adding fresh original
content, only to have it happen again.
It's almost as if they are testing your
will to endure.

After testing a dozen Wordpress versus
static HTML sites, it seemed as though
Wordpress - although slapped more often -
wasn't that big of a deal. It appeared as
though Google was having an issue with
affiliate links. Even more so, if they
detected commercial intent on the pages.

(As you may have noticed, the search
results stink lately. We used to find all
sorts of sites, but now all the top
results are jammed with big name brands,
or those who get links from big brands.
The mom and pop affiliates are not nearly
as prevalent as before.)

So after hundreds of hours of testing, I
shared my findings with Dave. Since he is
a full time affiliate marketer who also
runs countless tests, he was able to
confirm my findings.

Google views all new Wordpress installs
with suspicion. They don't like bare
affiliate links. They literally detest new
affiliate sites with commercial intent.
And if you have all three on the same
site, it's headed for the virtual crapper
for at least six months to a year.

Dave asked me if I had tried SkimLinks.
I never even heard of it.

Dave said that they don't use affiliate
links. They use a redirect instead. You
just deep link to whatever product you
want to sell.

So to the search engine spiders, algos
and filters, they look like normal links.
It would solve a lot of the problems
you're facing.

He continued to tell me that SkimLinks is
an affiliate network. They've joined over
18,000 affiliate programs including Amazon
and other biggies.

They are like an aggregator. So by joining
them, you can access just about every good
affiliate program on the planet. (Or at
least find several in your niche.)

They make it really easy. Just join their
program and install their code, or
Wordpress plugin, and they take care of
the rest.

From now on, you don't even need affiliate
links. Just link directly to the product
that you want to sell - say an Amazon
title - and it automatically tracks
everything for you.

So long story short, I joined SkimLinks
and haven't looked back. It's the smartest
thing I've done in years.

I tried their plugin on a fresh Wordpress
site, that was having trouble getting
traction. I was able to remove all of the
commercial intent language and affiliate
links from the page, because of the way
SkimLinks works.

Not only did I get my rankings back,
I made more revenue in one day with
affiliate programs, than I did in an
entire month with AdSense. I hope it
does the same for you. And that's why
I wanted to tell you about it.
