SEO Tip - Recycling Link Juice

Don't put too many links on your home
page. It dilutes the link juice, known as
PageRank. A better strategy is to put no
more than four links on your home page.

If you must link to a bunch of articles,
link to them from a directory page. So
your home page links to the directory
page, which links to all your article
pages. Then your articles link back
home and recycle the juice.

The directory gets full power juice from
the home page, thereby giving the
directory a great chance of showing up
in the search engine results as well.
You might even get a double listing.

Little Known Clickbank Secrets

If you sell an info product on Clickbank,
set up a second account. Then sign up to
become your own affiliate, and promote
your product through your own link.

Doing so will make it appear as if more
sales are coming from the affiliates,
bumping up your gravity score in the
Clickbank marketplace. That means you'll
get higher rankings the category listings.

Also, if you've made 5,000 in sales in the
history of your Clickbank account, you
can apply for one click upsells. That way,
you can offer customers the option of
purchasing a second product of yours at
a discount. It's far more effective than
placing related offers on the thank
you page.

Your Website Looks Like ? on the iPad

Lots of people asked me if I have an iPad.
The answer is yes. I bought myself one as
a birthday present a couple of weeks ago.

It was just before my fiscal year end.
It's the best time to buy. It's a sneaky
way to get the latest technology and the
maximum tax deduction for the entire year.

Other people have asked me what good is
an iPad. Well it does access the internet,
you can type on it and do email, but I
think of it more like an information
consumption device.

The iPad is perfectly suited to read RSS
feeds, digital ebooks and magazines. If
the iPod is 5,000 songs in your pocket.
The iPad is 5,000 books in your backpack.

Other people ask if they need to get
one to proof (check) their work on. Well,
that depends...

If you already have and iPhone, you can
check your website and videos on there,
because both devices run the iOS operating
system. If your website looks good, and
your videos play on the iPhone, it will be
a similar user experience on the iPad...
just bigger.

Going Deeper Into Your Niche

The Goobert social media marketing
method gets traffic. There's no doubt
about it. If you're not getting the
results you expect, go deeper into
your niche.

So if you're into golf, don't just get
Google alerts on the word golf. Get alerts
on the makes and models of everything,
from balls to clubs, courses, tournaments
and player names.

In addition to Google alerts, search
Twitter, or use Google Realtime results
for conversations that are happening right
now. Be prepared to jump into them, if you
can offer them something of value. Direct
them to an article your site, for the
solution to their problem.

If you'd like to learn more about how
to use social media for marketing. Get
Goobert. Hundreds of satisfied customers
agree, it's the fastest way to get
riskfree traffic, and generate revenue
from affiliate programs.

Product Creation & Standard Ad Sizes

If you're creating a product for sale, be
sure to have all your ads, banners,
articles, etc, ready at the same time as
your product. It's the biggest mistake I
see in product creation. The product is
ready for launch, but there's no tools for
advertising the product, or for the
affiliate sales force.

These four ad sizes are essential, because
they make up the IAB Universal Ad Package:

Leaderboard (728 x 90)
Medium Rectangle (300 x 250)
Small Rectangle (180 x 150)
Wide Skyscraper (160 x 600)

Dozens of "compliant member publishers"
have agreed to support these sizes for
internet advertising. You can visit the
IAB.net site for more info.

If you don't have these ad sizes made
up for your product, you better get
cracking. Publishers are hunting for them
as we speak.

You'll find a complete list of the
standard web ad sizes, inside the
Dynamic Media Vault. I've identified
the top performing ad sizes, and posted
my research on ad placement, so you can
maximize your revenues.

The Ultimate Heatmap & Ad Revenue Guide

Next up is something very interesting. I
overlaid hundreds of heatmaps, clickmaps,
Jakob Nielsen's web usability research and
Google's own ad placement suggestions.
I then created 30 templates based on this
data, and tracked the amount of ad revenue
generated, depending on ad position.

The result of this research, is a
definitive set of 9 templates. You can
use to double or triple your ad revenues,
without any additional traffic, clicks, or
impressions... just by moving the ads to
the hot spots. Fascinating and highly
profitable "secrets" to say the least.

I'll be stashing the ultimate heat map,
the ad placement research, and test
data into the Dynamic Media Vault
this weekend. I hope to see you
"inside" very soon.
