Since the last newsletter I popped over to the UK for a week just
in time for the riots... I had been walking in Birmingham City
Centre the day the riots started there but luckily had left well
before the "hoodies" arrived for their plundering. I was totally
shocked by the complete lack of power that the police now seem to
have in the UK. Then again, I shouldn't have been shocked. I
remember when I was teaching in the UK, 12+ years ago, and even
then, teachers were totally powerless to do anything if kids
disrupted our classes. OK, enough of the politics...
Today's newsletter is quite short. I have actually been writing a
few newsletters all at the same time because there is so much I
want to cover. I decided one long newsletter was too much for you
to digest, so don't be surprised to see more newsletters arrive in
quick succession. I am working on a short eBook called
"Future-Proof SEO", which I will be publishing in this newsletter
as I write it. Once it is finished, I'll release the whole thing as
a PDF to my subscribers (it will be free). Since there is so much
bad information on the Internet, I want to write a "course" on SEO
that will still be valid in 10 years from now. How do I know it
will still work then? I don't, but the stuff I have been teaching
for the last 10 years still do ;)
In today's newsletter I really just wanted to share my results with
you for a popular link building tool. It's not one I recommend,
but I thought you would be interested in my results for it.
Also in this newsletter I wanted to mention an SEO/Marketing
"Library" that Michael Campbell has created, plus a plea for help.
Can you identify the fruit growing in my in-laws garden. I don't
think it is native to Tenerife, but it may be. They were given
some seeds, and it is certainly thriving, but we don't know what it
is, or if it is edible.
