IMS #202 - Your Keys to the Vault - April 28 2011

Internet Marketing Secrets
IMS #202 - April 28 2011
Your Keys to the Vault

Peter,

How have you been? Long time no chat. Last
week I was in New York city, attending Ken
McCarthy's "final" System Seminar.

The content at the seminar was excellent.
There were some hallway conversations and
nuggets of wisdom, that I'd love to share
with you in future newsletters.

This time of year is always busy, because
I'm ramping up my summer campaigns.
There's going to be a lot of back yard
entertaining going on. Especially this
year.

There's going to be lots of bbq, picnics,
hiking, camping, fishing and family
activities. That's where I'll be focusing
my affiliate marketing.

I always have better luck with the summer,
instead of targeting the obvious holidays.
There's not nearly as much competition.

(Remind me to tell you the success story,
of how I sold an order of 100 cases of
curly hotdogs some time. It's a doozy.)

On the flight to New York I read Dr. Andy
Williams' revised "Creating Fat Content"
course. It's an in-depth look at writing
articles that rank well and survive the
test of time.

I recommend you take this fat cat for a
read. You'll be surprised at how much
there is to know about creating content
that Google will like.

You can download it here with this non

Speaking of Google, go soak up my
report on the Panda update if you
haven't already.

http://www.internetmarketingsecrets.com/google-panda-algo-change/

You'll discover that much of the algo
change is based on human behavior. The
Google engineers watched what the people
did and then programed their machine to
mimic it. The bottom line is that bounce
rate, or time on site has a lot to do
with it.

To make people stay on your site longer,
you need good, original content. But you
also need good design. So along those
lines, I've been working on two reports.

The first report is a font (typography)
best practices guide. It shows you how
to maximize legibility and readability, so
your visitors stay longer. The second is
in-depth research on how color affects
mood, persuasion and conversion.

Both reports are in progress right now and
will be part my new Wordpress theme
Which reminds me... did I tell you about
that yet?

My friend Amit Savyon (the Wordpress Jedi)
and I are creating a set of templates.
They are based on the science and research
of the Ultimate Heatmap report.

You can choose colors, fonts and the types
of ads that you want to run. Then it's one
click to switch templates, so you can try
them all, and maximize your conversions.

We hope to have it ready to beta test
within a few weeks. If you're interested
in being a tester, click reply and let
me know.

If you haven't downloaded the Ultimate
Heatmap report yet, you can do so here:

If you want to tell me what you think, go
jot a quick one on the blog. So far
there's about 140 comments.

Early testimonials have people doubling
and tripling their ad revenues, without
additional traffic. So be sure to give
these layouts and ad formats a shot.

You can either mimic these templates on
your own, or wait for Amit and I to come
out with our theme. Either way, you'll
notice a big difference in your sign ups,
sales, donations, and conversions.

And for everyone that keeps asking...
yes and yes. You can still hire me for
coaching and consulting. There are five
new options available.

At the low end of the coaching spectrum,
you can ask me a question by email. At
the highest level of consulting, you can
put me on retainer and make me part of
your team.

You can see all the new coaching and
consulting packages here:

On caveat though, if you're thinking of
getting my help, you might want to act on
that thought. I'm packing it in by the end
of the year... for real this time...
no extensions.

I plan on getting out of the limelight,
or internet marketing "guru" space and
focusing more on my roots of affiliate
marketing. I also plan on traveling more
with my beautiful wife.

Um... let's see... what else is going on
around here?

Oh right... I nearly forgot to mention,
that the Dynamic Media Vault is now a
stand alone product. You don't need to
subscribe, to access the secrets inside
anymore.

Some of the secrets I reveal include:

Pumper Linking - The original link
sculpting strategy that doesn't rely on
Javascript or nofollow. Just good old
fashioned links.

Email Spam Triggers - 175 things you
cannot say in email. You must avoid these
words and phrases, if you want to get your
messages delivered.

SEO Mistakes - A video series that reveals
the biggest mistakes people make -
sometimes accidentally - when they attempt
to optimize their sites.

Extreme Syndication - How one piece of
content can be syndicated to drive traffic
from hundreds of sources, including
YouTube, all the video sharing sites,
iTunes, PDF directories and blogs.

Come on over and take a look. You get
everything that's listed in the right hand
column, for one seriously silly price. You
can see for yourself here:

And as a bonus for my Goobert customers
(http://www.gogoobert.com) I have
something special for you. Email me your
Goobert Clickbank receipt and I'll send
you to a secret button, so you can get the
Vault at an additional 20% off.

Ok, that's it for now my friends. I have
to go finish up my paper on color
psychology. Start alpha testing the new
Ultimate Heatmap theme. And finish
polishing up my backyard entertaining
sites, to get them ready for the summer
affiliate marketing season.

I hope to see you next time. So be sure to
stay tuned and keep reading, because I
have a mountain of goodies coming your
way, in the next few editions of the
Internent Marketing Secrets newsletter.

take care,

Michael
